Started this beautiful morning with a bike ride to Jaffa with Kylie, while the others had a workout at the beach gym.
After brekky on the terrace, we visited the Ramat Gan Safari & Zoo. All 7 of us loved it, especially the excitement of seeing animals up close & personal from our car as we drove through the safari. Best value was the ostrich who approached the car & knocked on the window with his beak. Everyone was shrieking with laughter. Ayden & Joss had lots of fun taking their own pics on iPads.
The zoo was also a hit with the novel way of traveling around in a golf buggy, with everyone jumping off to see the various animals when driver Dion stopped the buggy. All the kids had a great time.
From Ramat Gan to Herzliya for a late lunch at Benedict’s.. which was a big disappointment. Food wasn’t good & will be our last visit!
Down to the beach by lift & spent 2or3 hours there. It’s a great beach with lovely facilities. Very enjoyable afternoon.
So as we were away for Joss’ 6th birthday, we promised her a party in Israel. We chose today because it’s exactly 2 months since her birthday. So tonight we had a BBQ birthday party with hats, whistles & decorations. The cake was a platter of rugelach & donuts which she requested.. She was very happy & excited!
It was a big day but loads of fun. D&K have gone for a walk to the Tachana & we are off to bed!
