Early morning for the kids after sleeping on the plane, the excitement of their arrival in Israel, & going to bed by 4am.
So by the time I left the bedroom this morning, they had already had breakfast, been for a swim in the sea as well as the pool & were ready for a second brekky with us on the terrace.
Jeffrey, Dion & Kylie went through the list of suggestions & loose program we had put together prior to their arrival. They checked out the map to familiarize Kylie with directions & approximate distances between places in Israel as this is her first trip here.
D&K’s stroller did not arrive from the plane, so we took ours & headed off to the markets. First a stroll along Nahalat Benyamin craft market & then Shuk HaCarmel. Can’t think of a better way to start an Israeli holiday. After juices, dumplings & a few other taste tests, we made our way from one end of the market to the other, stocking up on fresh produce to take home.
Falafel, hummus, pita & home made salad for lunch on the terrace & then rests for all (except Harley & Kylie who looked after him). Then when Kylie took him for a walk, he fell asleep in the stroller for a couple of hours while we had fun on the beach & in the water.
Tonight we went to the Namal, the kids played at one of the new impressive playgrounds, then we ate dinner at Benny Hadayag & home to bed for all.
