FRIDAY 21/6/13
Shabbat shalom from TLV.
After Jeffrey’s morning meeting at UIA, & my brekky with Sue Hoffman at David Citadel, we left Jerusalem at lunchtime & returned to TLV. We were so busy in Jerusalem, that we didn’t notice the heat there. The convention centre was highly air conditioned.
It’s definitely hot here & more humid than when we left. Jeffrey went to the market to shop for Shabbat. I unpacked & did washing etc. before Leonie & Morris Joel arrived for a/noon tea. We caught up on their cruise with M&M, & we swapped stories.
Judy dropped in for a short visit. They’re in the process of moving house from Rishon to Modi'in, which is very hard work.
So with dinner in the oven, we went for a dip in the Mediterranean, a dunk in the pool, & a shower to follow.
Then drinks on the terrace, a quiet Shabbat dinner for two, & off to bed. Two exhausted, too exhausted, to… even watch TV.
