It’s about 6 weeks since I’ve been on my bike so I wasn’t too excited to get back on.. however I did cycle with Jeffrey this morning to meet R&K in Jaffa. I was excited though to wander around the streets with them & have a fruit shake.
Today was really hot, mid 30’s, blue skies & a slight breeze.. perfect for entertaining.
First visitors of the day were Irene & John Sutton (no relation to Kate) who stopped by on their cruise. Irene’s connection is both that she dances in my class and that she is machetainista to Richard & Roslyn Rogers! We had a lovely couple of hours time together before they went on their way. Then Judy came with Shamira & Sapir, as well as Moishe, Leah & the children, and Barry Brott. We sat around talking, the kids had a swim in the pool, then we sojourned on the terrace for sunset drinks.. Ahhh!
As tonight is Rohan & Kate’s last night, we had chicken soup, roast chicken & salad. This Jewish mother wanted to make a home cooked dinner, as they still have 2 ½ weeks of their trip till they get home to Melbourne.
Which brings me to tomorrow morning at 4:30am when they leave for the airport & I must kiss them goodbye. I’m not getting used to it.. I really really don’t like farewells :(
