Judy says that she’s never heard of people going to the zoo without little kids. Marion responded that Rohan was going too.
This morning by popular request, Jeffrey took M&M & Rohan to the Ramat Gan safari & zoo. They absolutely loved it & as a special bonus, the lions were awake & prowling.
After an early visit by Marion & Jeffrey to the market, we had both their final breakfast & their final lunch on the terrace in the glorious sunshine. It wasn’t too hot & a perfect way for Bubba & Zayda to finish their Israeli sojourn. It was hard saying goodbye when the taxi came to pick them up, but we had a great week together, a few days of which overlapped with R&K.
Later in the afternoon, we beached & pooled. Both the Mediterranean & the pool water are no longer really cold, which means that summer has begun.
This evening we went to Benny Hadayag for a delicious fish dinner before going to a Yehuda Poliker concert at Zev’s Hangar 11 Venue. It was a lot of fun & I hope that R&K enjoyed it as well.
BTW Marion called to say they turned back to the airport after flying for an hour because something was wrong with the plane. She messaged later to say they were taking off again so waiting to hear that they’ve arrived safely in Rome.
