After R&K’s long morning walk, Jeffrey’s gym workout & brekky, we went for a walk to Tamara yogurt bar on the cnr of Ben Yehuda & Gordon Sts. Even though it’s the first time for this trip, we love to go there when it’s too hot to eat normal food for lunch. And today was mid 30’s so justified our indulgence.
M&M returned from their weekend in Jerusalem about 3pm. (It was good to have them back) & then we all went to Kikar Hamedina for a stroll around the circle which I call the paddock (because that’s what it looks like!) No packages for me!
On our return we had a visit from Lyn & Jack Borowski. They’re here to organize their son David’s wedding to Diana Perla’s daughter Adaya. They couldn’t stay for our BBQ but came back later for tea, not coffee!
So there were seven of us for dinner with Judy. We made a big salad, tsimmes because we had an over abundance of carrots & a yummy BBQ which Jeffrey expertly cooked. It’s a coal BBQ, not gas, so takes a lot more skill! Dinner was delicious. Even my first attempt at tsimmes was successful, by the comments. We had a lot of fun & an enjoyable evening.
