Forget about the numerous loads of washing, the multiple trips to the supermarket & Shuk HaCarmel, this is about the real issue of living in TA, the TRAFFIC!
One of the most amazing realities of our trip so far, is that Jeffrey (together with WAZE) has easily excelled driving, maneuvering, parking & navigating our way from every point A to every point B!!
So today was the most challenging driving experience so far. We drove to the Azrielli centre, no problem. The first 10 minutes of looking for a park, no problem. After 15 minutes it began to be quite frustrating. So when we spotted a free park, nothing was going to stop Jeffrey! Not even the lady trying to save the spot for her friend in the approaching car! There was her screaming, her thumping of fists on our car & his yelling & abuse.. And Jeffrey calmly said he didn’t understand Hebrew & could she please move so he could finish parking our car. Not happy couple screamed a bit more while we parked. We four were a bit shaky as we left our car & entered the shopping centre. Phew!
So in comparison to that, we had a quiet afternoon.. lunch at home, reading, rest, Jeffrey did a message on the bike & Marion & I went for a walk.
Judy & Chaim arrived about 7pm & the six of us went to GOSHEN for a yummy dinner. R&K are now en route from Berlin to TA, & should be here within the next 5 hours. Very excited!
