Happy anniversary to darling Dion & Kylie.
This morning everyone went in different directions.. Jeffrey went shopping at Shuk HaCarmel, CONGA went to the Dizengoff Centre, & I met Elly Shalev (Mizrahi) & Laura Elkaslassy for brunch at Sheleg Cafe.
We have a strange relationship with the cleaner here. He is supposed to come every week, but he doesn’t turn up & we have to call the agent to remind him. Then, if we’re not home, he does a very bad job. And if we’re home, we have to follow him around the apartment as he’s lazy, so it’s very frustrating!
The weather was hot today & we had one of those fog episodes for an hour or so.
In the afternoon, after Jeffrey & Gavin went to the supermarket, Judy & all her kids & grandkids came over to swim in the pool. I think there were 25 of us altogether. It was fairly noisy but everyone had a good time. Then afterwards, Jeffrey, Judy & some of the kids went to the beach. Jeffrey says the Mediterranean is warming up at last.
Tonight was the last Shabat dinner in Israel for Gav Orly Chloe Addison & Noah. The weeks have gone by very quickly. I think the girls are excited to go to Disneyland in Hong Kong. But I’m going to miss them!
Jeffrey & I have just been for an after dinner walk almost to Jaffa in the balmy night. It’s so nice!
