Addi went with Jeffrey to the gym first thing today, then Orly went for a run.
We made a return visit to Dizengoff fountain by popular demand (kids) later this morning, followed by early lunch at the nearby Bagel bar. Gavin walked home & then Jeffrey went for a bike ride.
After Noah’s rest, we dropped G&O at Basel Square, & we took the kids to The Safari & Zoo in Ramat Gan. We started off driving through the free range area, where we saw lots of zebras, different kinds of ibexes, rhinoceros, emus, goats, & hippos. The lions were all lying down resting so we couldn’t see them very well. The kids loved spotting the different kinds of animals from afar & they got so excited to see them come up close to the car or even walk in front of the car as we were driving.
We then left the car & hired a golf cart to take us round the actual zoo. The kids loved to jump off to see each species of animal & then jump back on the cart to go to the next exhibit.
A really great tiyul which we all really enjoyed.
For the first time in two weeks, we got a babysitter called Yael (a friend of Zev’s daughter), & the four of us went out for dinner to Meatos. We had a lovely relaxing meal, delicious food & great company!
The weather is starting to get hotter but tonight was pleasantly warm & still! Layla tov xx
