Today is our 7th Shabat in Israel. It seems that we blink, & it’s Shabat again. Tonight there were 9 of us for dinner (not counting the children who were fast asleep). Our guests were Lea Eizik, Alan & Yvonne Feil with their daughter Jodie & her husband Erez. I used my anniversary gifts from Jeffrey & the children for the first time & the table looked beautiful. We are now quite sorted with kitchen necessities for entertaining, & we served a tasty four course dinner. In our current relaxed holiday mode, we were surprised that it was midnight when our guests left.
Earlier today we returned to Jaffa for a wander around & lunch. The kids already recognize the clock tower & other landmarks.
Jeffrey & I went to the supermarket in Dizengoff centre by car to do the shopping, but ridiculously, they make it very difficult to take the trolleys to the car, so it was still a big shlep!
This afternoon Jeffrey & CONGA went searching for buskers at Nahalat Benyamin. They love to watch the street performers.
My eyes are closing.. Shabat shalom xx
