This is our 6th Shabat in Israel & how wonderful to be sharing it with Gav Orly Chloe Addison & Noah. When I lit the candles tonight, my heart was filled with joy as Chloe joined me in the bracha. How blessed are we!
This morning we had the pleasure to be invited to Moishe & Leah’s simchat bat l’chayim for their newborn daughter Shachar (Judy’s grand daughter). The celebration took place in Modi’in & Jeffrey drove us all there & back with absolute confidence. The party was lovely & it was great for Gav to catch up with all the cousins & for Orly & the kids to meet them all.
After Noah’s sleep we all went to Nahalat Benyamin (no retail therapy). Then Jeffrey & the girls enjoyed a street performance of acrobats while the rest of us navigated the crowds in Shuk HaCarmel. Afterwards they all went home & Jeffrey & I did the pre Shabat food shopping.
So a few games on the balcony preceded our home cooked dinner & now the kids are in bed, Jeffrey is at shule, & Gav & Orly have gone for a walk along the tayellet.
