FRIDAY 2/8/13
Another gorgeous TLV summer’s day. The beach has changed, the water is much cleaner, there are no more stingers (they lasted about 3 weeks), there are no real waves, & the tide has gone out. It’s still very warm in the water, so it’s really nice to spend time just bobbing around (as we did yesterday). Today both Judy & Chaim came to the beach with us.
Jeffrey went to pick up one of our art pieces from Gerstein. He happened to be in Israel & at the shop, so they had a photo together & he signed one of his books for us. Very excited!
Before dinner Jeffrey went to the Namal for an outdoor Kabbalat Shabbat service. I didn’t go as I’m still not feeling 100% & still coughing a lot. I spoke to Ross on the phone & he suggested a nasal spray, Judy came today with some tablets & I’m still taking the 2 medications from the chemist. So hopefully something will work.
We had Shabbat dinner on the terrace a deux. Missing the kids but not long now till we’ll be home again. Enjoying the relaxing time we have left here & appreciating every minute of what we are experiencing. And praying for continued peace here. Shabbat shalom.
