SUNDAY 4/8/13
We decided to go bike riding today even though it was very hot & I wasn’t feeling well. I think that when there’s only a certain number of days left here, I have to make the most of it. It did feel good to get out & but I was exhausted when we got back & had to have a big rest. I’m now sneezing as well as coughing, so it seems to be breaking up.
Our lift was broken for a few hours this afternoon so it was frustrating. I stayed put but Jeffrey went up & down a couple of times.
I had the opportunity to go to a special session at Yaron Carmel tonight, 80th birthday for Danny Uziel. When I was offered a lift, I decided to go against my better judgment. I dosed myself up with medication & off I went. I’m so glad I did in the end. It was a really nice night. There were people from all over the world & quite a few I knew of but hadn’t met before. It was special to catch up with Danny & Yaron Carmel. The class was in Gan Shmuel up north so it took quite a while to get there & to get home. Arrived back here at 2:30am. It’s now after 3am & I’m hoping for a good sleep
Jeffrey went off to Dr Shakshuka in Jaffa this evening after his swim with Judy, & he enjoyed his dinner. I think he’s really enjoying getting around on the electric bike.
