THURSDAY 8/8/13

This is my third attempt to post Thursday’s blog. It disappears after I post & is never seen again.. At least after composing it the second time, I copied it into notes just in case….

Packing up has started.. We took out all the things we wanted to send home, put it all in a box, sealed it, labelled it & schlepped it to he post office.,after waiting in the queue, they told Jeffrey it was too heavy! Schlepped it back home, unpacked it, re packed it into two boxes, resealed them, labelled them, & reshlepped them back to the post office, waiting in the queue again & believe it or not, they’re sent! That’s Israel! Hot hot hot job!

Late lunch once again on the terrace, followed by some photo book time, pool time & then beach for sunset. And what a sensational sunset it was! We stayed in the warm beach water till well after sunset.. It was beautiful!

After 8pm, we walked down to the Namal (it’s north, so does that mean we walked up?!?) to meet Zev & Hana at the Hangar before going for dinner. So dinner was about 10pm outside overlooking the water. About midnight, Yonatan & his girlfriend arrived to say hi & for drinks. They’d been out celebrating his success with navy exams he had yesterday. He’s only 22 but very high up in electronics warfare in navy! Wow!
So after walking home, we arrived at 1:30am, the tayellet was packed with people, & it was 27 degrees
